Description of the tour:

During our sightseeing tour we will introduce you Prague (UNESCO), the historical and architectural jewel of Central Europe. Our guide, available the whole time, will acquaint you with the history of Prague and of its quarters (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town and the Castle Town) in the comfort of our air-conditioned bus. Then you will continue by visiting the Prague Castle and the Prague´s most dominant feature – Saint Vitus’ Cathedral. After a 75-minute walk (approx.) with our guide, we drive you to the pier on the Vltava River. You board a tour boat and will have the chance to relax or to buy refreshments while admiring.

the beauty and panorama of Prague from a different perspective. From the upper deck you will also see the world-renowned old Charles Bridge. Relaxed, you will continue taking a short walk through the Jewish Quarter to the Old Town Square (Astronomical Clock, Týn Church), where this tour will be finished.

 

Tour 3 – Grand City Tour + Prague Castle + Charles Bridge (bus, walking tour)

Description of the tour:

If you decide to take this tour, our professional guide will acquaint you thoroughly with Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and with its thousand years old history and architecture. From the comfort of our air-conditioned bus we will show you first the New Town with the Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, the National Theatre, the panorama of Prague Castle and the Lesser Town as well as the Charles Bridge.

Then you will continue walking in the courtyards of the Prague Castle, become acquainted with its history and you will visit the inside of its biggest monument, Saint Vitus’ Cathedral. After visiting the grounds of Prague Castle, you will descend to the Lesser Town and the Kampa Island. The Charles Bridge, the architectural gem of Central Europe will lead you to the opposite bank of the Vltava River, from where you will continue on foot to the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter. The tour ends in the Old Town Square at the Astronomical Clock situated on the frontage of the Old Town Hall near the Týn Church.

Although this is a combined bus and walking tour, it is more physically demanding than TOUR 1. We therefore recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and that you should be in good physical condition.

Description of the tour:

Český Krumlov, a medieval town in South Bohemia, has retained its almost fairytale-like atmosphere to the present days and deserves its being on the UNESCO list of cultural heritage sites. The historical centre comprises narrow, winding streets and lanes full of gothic, renaissance, and baroque buildings from the times of the Rožmberk, Eggenberg and Schwarzenberg noble families. You will enjoy a walk through the town with our guide. Then you will visit exteriors of local castle, the second biggest Czech castle. Our guide can help you buy tickets to the castle interiors. Český Krumlov boasts the world’s oldest preserved baroque theatre.

Description of the tour:

Price includes entrance fees to: Saint Barbara’s cathedral, Sedlec ossuary (“bone church”).

Kutná Hora, a medieval silver mining centre, was once the second richest city in the Kingdom of Bohemia. The former wealth of the town is today reflected in the variety of architectural monuments and in the preserved structure of the town centre. The tour of Kutná Hora will not only take you to St. Barbara’s Cathedral but also to many beautiful gothic, renaissance and baroque townhouses and to visit a unique stone fountain from the 15th century. You will also visit one of the most interesting burial grounds in the world: the Sedlec Ossuary. This chapel is decorated with more than 40 000 human bones, arranged into a chandelier, the Schwarzenberg Coat-of-Arms, and so on. Kutná Hora has been on the UNESCO list of cultural heritage sites since 1995.

After the walk you will have 90 minutes of free time according to your preferences.

Karlovy Vary is probably the best-known spa town in the Czech Republic. Its history begins in the 14th century, at the time of the reign of Charles IV. The healing powers of the local springs have been tested by such greats as by the Russian Tsar Peter the Great and German poet Goethe. Karlovy Vary also became famous thanks to the local manufacturing of world-renowned Moser crystal, Carlsbad porcelain or the herb liqueur Becherovka. After arriving to Karlovy Vary your group will be taken on a tour of the town centre by our guide to see the most famous geyser Vřídlo (Sprudel) – gushing its mineral water to a height of almost 12 metres. You will go by a funicular to Diana where you can find a watchtower, a butterfly house or a Mini Zoo. After you will be free to explore the town on your own.
